Introduction

The appellate court hears cases that are on appeal from a lower court. This can be due to errors in law, errors in fact, or errors in procedure. Appellate practice includes evaluation and consultation regarding potential appellate issues or remedies in connection with proceedings in the lower court prior to the initiation of the appellate process.
