Federal Legislative History: Prints

Overview of Committee Prints

Committee prints, produced by the staff of the committee, provide background information on the issue the bill addresses.  Prints vary  in content but are helpful to the researcher when they contain bibliographies, statistical reports, or legislative analysis. They are issued in numerical order (e.g. H.R. Doc. No. 43 and Title).
