At Federal Statistical Research Data Centers (RDCs), qualified researchers can access restricted-use microdata from a variety of statistical agencies to address important research questions.
The RDCs house data from many federal and state agencies and are available to researchers for approved projects. Statistical agencies collaborate with the Census Bureau to provide microdata in the secure RDC environment. The following agencies contribute data directly to the RDCs and each has their own review and approval process. Explore the links below to learn more about the data each agency makes available and the process to access their data.
Located at the University of Florida, the Florida Research Data Center (FLRDC) is a partnership between the U.S. Census Bureau and a consortium that includes the University of Florida, the University of Central Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Florida State University. The FLRDC opened in 2022. Before being a part of the FLRDC, FSU was a part of the Atlanta Research Data Center (ARDC).
