Florida Health Care Law Research Guide: Intro

INTRODUCTION

Health law is a very broad area of law encompassing federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Health law governs issues related to the delivery of and access to health care; public health; insurance coverage and industry; health care providers; professional regulations; patients' rights; drug safety; and bioethical concerns.  Standards for board certification in health law are set out in Rule 6-14 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
