Florida Poverty Law: General Poverty Law Resources

Overview

Welcome to the Research Center's Florida Poverty Law Research Guide. Generally, poverty law is a distinct body of law that focuses on the rights and remedies afforded to low-income or impoverished individuals and families.

Of particular importance is the ability and access to governmental benefits at the state and federal level. Poverty law includes concepts from other bodies of law as well, ranging from topics such as family law to elder law.

This Guide distinguishes the various subgoups of Poverty Law and provides localized resources and materials within each subgroup.
