Career Resources: Getting Started: Introduction

There are many resources available for legal careers and job searching. This Research Guide provides career resources including many books, but also tips on building a résumé, how to prepare for an interview and where to find an internship. You'll find information on different practice areas and books on those topics as well as information on researching legal employers. The Research Center has a Career Planning section which includes many books on all aspects of legal employment, including information on non-legal or non-traditional employment for lawyers. The career planning resources are on the second floor next to the Reference section.
