FORM-ula for Success:

  • Research legal issues first - decide exactly what you want to accomplish with your document.  Make sure you understand the possible causes of action in your case.
  • Compare similar forms from different sources - you may need to combine elements of several forms to best serve your particular needs.
  • Customize the form - use the form as a guide to tailor your document to the specifics of your case.

Finding what you need is NOT a Form-idible Task!

So, what are they?

Legal forms generally fall in one of two catagories.  Practice forms are samples of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, interrogatories, that serve as models when drafting new documents.  Transactional forms are templates for common legal and business transactions such as wills, contracts, and deeds.
