The Research Center (aka "the library") welcomes you to Florida State Law! As many students before you have discovered, the expert research librarians and resources of the Research Center are your not-so-secret weapon for success in law school and beyond.

This guide is meant to introduce you to a number of the resources the Research Center has available to help you in your first year in law school. This guide is just a starting point, and we encourage you to come to the Research Center if you have any questions or use our Ask-A-Librarian service.

The Research Center provides all Florida State University law students with digital access to a number of study aid resources at no cost to you.

West Academic Study Aids Online

24/7 access to more than 470 study aids in ebook, audio, and video formats. Includes Nutshells, Hornbooks, Sum and Substance titles, Short & Happy Guides, and many more.

To create an account:

1. Go to http://subscription.westacademic.com
2. Click ‘Create an Account’ in the upper right-hand corner and follow the prompts
3. Please use your school email address
4. Setup your account and verify your email address
