Getting Assistance

Use any of these convenient ways to contact a librarian for research assistance.

A research guide, or LibGuide, is a set of web pages for research assistance, subject guides, and userul resources compiled by your friendly librarians at the Research Center

Obtaining Library Material from Other Libraries

There are two ways to obtain materials not owned by our library.

  1. Request materials through INTERLIBRARY LOAN. Requests for articles or books may be made to Barbara Kaplan, the Interlibrary Loan Librarian. If you need information about the status of an interlibrary loan request or wish to cancel a previously submitted request, please call 644-7480.

  2. UBORROW allows you to request materials directly from participating libraries within Florida's state university system. This unmediated borrowing service increases your access to the collections of the other universities in Florida and delivers more quickly than standard Interlibrary Loan. Find out more about UBorrow on the UBorrow page.
