LL.M. Library Survival Guide: Welcome!

Welcome to Florida State's College of Law and its Research Center! A lawyer must be able to correctly and quickly apply legal analysis to solve problems. And legal research is where highly sophisticated legal analysis is created.

Your legal Research Center offers one of the nation's most comprehensive, systematic legal research training programs to help you become an expert legal researcher. Our courses and workshops, which are offered throughout all three years of law school, are taught by experienced research faculty. We also assist students with paper topics and research strategy and offer personalized training for students going into an externship or starting a job.

We look forward to working with you to build the superior legal research skills you will need to become a successful lawyer!
